CANBERRA STADIUM MASTER PLAN

EXISTING FACILITY

Canberra Stadium is a 25,000 capacity stadium that was initially developed in 1977 and was formally known as Bruce Stadium.  It has an interesting history, having been through three phases since it was first developed.  It began life as an athletics stadium.

It is now Canberra’s premier sports facility and the home venue for Super 14 team the CA Brumbies and the NRL's Canberra Raiders, and hosts many other major events each year.
